Sound ridiculous! Facts are stranger than Fiction. Behavioral therapies have been proved to be one of the best counseling treatment for the drug addicts irrespective of his family background and level of addiction. It is indeed true that people round the world makes you friend primarily for your behavior. On the other terms, it is your attitude that attracts the people towards you, not the glittering Turquoise on a golden ring in your ring finger.

When your behavior repels the people around you instead of attracting them, you must be cautious.

When the drug addicts walk into the drug treatment center, his behavior is carefully noted. A series of counseling sessions and classes on behavioral training can change his overall attitude drastically and obviously to the positive side. The problem is that there most of the people often think they are the wisest on this earth. The pride or ego often elude them from reality. They hardly bother to notice that the people have started avoiding him and that too, even the close associates. When such a change occurs, he starts imposing things by showing anger. When even that fails, they feel lonely. Who can deny that human beings always look forward to friends?

They try to find solace in drugs or alcohol. Perhaps that is the start of stepping ahead towards disastrous drug addiction.

Today, all the management institutes have started offering behavioral training. Why shouldn’t we look forward to such behavioral training even in normal circumstances. Prevention is better than cure!
